Bordeaux Blends are wines that feature a blend of grapes traditionally found in the Bordeaux region. These blends can be found in almost every wine growing region in the world.
Red Bordeaux Blends include two or more of the following: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec,
Carménère, and Petit Verdot. Common names for these blends include a Left Bank Blend, Right Bank Blend, Meritage, and Claret.
White Bordeaux Blends include two or more of the following: Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle, with small amounts of Ugni blanc, Colombard and Folle blanche.
