Pull up that leather arm chair, close to the fireplace, and open to page 237 of whatever you’re reading.  Dostoevsky? David Baldacci? Malcolm Gladwell? It won’t matter – paired with this amazing 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon – it will be the best book you’ve ever read.  This is a luscious version of Bravado – highly concentrated, with lovely earthy tones set over a bed of crushed ripe cherries.  Oh my!  Pair with anything beef or wintery...

Visual: Bright, dark berry colour but dense. Nuances of purple with heavy legs. Nose: Intense layers of varietal aromatics of dark berries, oak spice, cassis, undergrowth, with a touch of meatiness. Palate: Smooth, yet firm, attack of blackcurrant with a dense and broad midpalate that balances between texture, fruit weight and mature tannins. Persistent final of warm berries and spice that leads to a pleasant and refreshing youthful tension.
