Style: Medium-bodied Red Vintage: 2016
Appellation: Bourgogne Varietal: Pinot Noir
Region: Burgundy County: France
This Bourgogne red is delightful, fruity, soft in the mouth and easy to drink with very charming and expressive aromas (strawberry and cherry).
The grapes are hand-picked, then sorted, crushed. The fermentation is quickly started, maceration lasts about 12-14 days, with the cap punched frequently. No enzymes of any kind are used to extract color artificially. The free-run wine and first press are blended. The wine will mature in barrels and “foudres” (large wooden barrels). The wine is bottled after 10- 12 months without being racked but after a light filtration.
A wine which complements full flavored meat dishes as pork, grilled meat, white meat.
