Organic wine is wine made from grapes grown in accordance with principles of organic farming, which typically excludes the use of artificial chemicals, fertilizers,  pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides.

In most countries, being Organic does allow the use of sulphur in the winemaking process on a limited basis. The United States is the exception, where the use of sulphur is not allowed in organic wines.
