Tasting Notes
Rich and unctuous with dried fruit, walnut, and quince flavors. Luckily the wine has enough balancing acidity that it is not at all cloying. The finish is extremely long, and lingers. It can be served as an aperitif with nuts, olives, and a variety of hors d’oeuvres. As a desert wine it goes very well with bread pudding, dates, figs, spice cake, pumpkin pie, or on its own as an after dinner drink.
